Re-hanging sagging runs, resetting pitch, resealing corners and end caps.
Rotted board replaced before new gutter is hung on it — otherwise it comes down again.

Gutters: questions we hear most
Seamless or sectional?
Seamless, in almost every case. The joints in sectional gutter are where leaks start, and a seamless run has none except at the corners and outlets. The material cost is similar; it’s the machine at the house that makes the difference.
What size gutter do I need?
It depends on how much roof drains into each run and how steep that roof is. Standard five-inch gutter handles most homes; large or steep roofs and heavy-rain regions often need six-inch and bigger downspouts. Your contractor works it out from your roof, not a guess.
Are gutter guards worth it?
Under trees, usually yes — they turn a twice-a-year cleaning into an occasional one. No guard is truly maintenance-free, whatever the ad says, and fine debris like shingle grit and pine needles still gets through some designs. Your contractor will tell you which type suits your trees.
How often should gutters be cleaned?
Twice a year is the general rule, and more often with pines or heavy leaf fall. If water is spilling over the front edge in a storm, they’re already overdue.
